Better late than never, right?

I haven't posted anything in such a long time so I am so far behind. I have some halloween projects to share that I actually did near halloween but I am just now sharing them.
This layout is really basic. I ordered a halloween embellishment kit from oriental trading company that worked perfectly with these layouts.

A close up showing the brads in the center of the web.

Another close up to show the detail of the spider embellishment.
On the second page I used a journaling tag from a DCWV stack. It was perfect for this layout.

These adorable buttons were also in the embellisment kit. I tied them with twine and used some glue dots to attach them to the page.

What do you call these things anyway? Whatever they are I thought they would be really cute to embellish this picture of my kids with their grandmother.

This layout is of my daughter right before she went to school. I had a lot of fun creating this. I cut the wanted sign and the horse from Old West. Then I cut the rider from Rock Princess. I used my Gypsy to scale it to fit just right on the horse. This is the girl that is riding the motorcycle. After I cut her out I carefully trimmed the motorcycle away from her.

In this close up you can see where I sanded the shirt to give it a little character. I used glossy accents on the boot to give it some shine. Then I inked the horse and the girls hair for more dimension.

Finally, I pop dotted it on to the layout so it would really stand out.

That's all for today. Thanks for looking!
